Professor Russell Scott is
Clinical Professor of Medicine, Christchurch School of Medicine;
Director of the Lipid and Diabetes Research Group, Christchurch
Hospital; Consulting Physician at Christchurch Hospital for Internal
Medicine, Diabetes Services (Department of Endocrinology), and Lipid
Disorders (Department of Preventative Cardiology). He has over 120
publications and refereed journals relating to Diabetes, Lipid Disorders
and Cardiovascular Disease.

Lipid and Diabetes Research Group has substantial expertise in clinical
trial evaluations of new agents, particularly those relating to Lipids,
Insulin-Resistance, Obesity and Diabetes. The group includes Scientists,
Physicians, Clinical scientists, Nurses and a Dietitian.
